About Dispatch
A small explanation, filed early, for anyone wondering what this is.
There is no shortage of places to shop online.
There is, however, a shortage of places that make shopping feel particularly fun anymore.
There are too many tabs. Too many feeds. Too many things being pushed because everyone else is looking at them. More choice has somehow turned into more work.
Dispatch started with a much simpler idea:
What if there were one place you actually wanted to come look around?
Not just when you need something. Not just when an algorithm decides you should buy something. A place to discover things, save things, figure out what you like, and occasionally find exactly the thing you didn't know you were looking for.
Part fashion feed, part editorial desk, part personal shopping tool — Dispatch is being built around making discovery feel good again.
We're still early. This is V1.
DISCOVER.
Sometimes you know exactly what you're looking for.
Most of the time, you don't.
That's why Dispatch starts with discovery.
The Feed is a running wire of what's happening across the site — pieces just added to the catalog, new Collections, Journal entries, and whatever we're paying attention to right now.
It's made for the kind of shopping where you don't need a reason to be there yet.
You don't have to arrive knowing you need a black dress, a suede jacket, or a pair of shoes for dinner next Thursday.
Browse. Open something. Save it. Ignore it. Come back tomorrow.
There should always be something else to find.

CURATE.
The internet is already very good at showing you everything.
We're more interested in editing.
The point isn't to show you more. It's to show you what belongs.
Collections are our themed edits — pieces pulled together around an occasion, season, mood, or idea.
Date Night. Wedding Guest. Autumn State. Country Weekend.
Some solve a problem. Some capture a mood. Some are simply an excuse to collect a very specific kind of thing we're into right now.
The Journal goes a little deeper: brands we're watching, things we're noticing, and notes from the editorial side of Dispatch.
There is no paid placement deciding what makes something interesting here.
The byline is the editing.
MAKE IT YOURS.
This is where Dispatch starts becoming something different.
Shopping is personal. The internet usually isn't.
For You is our attempt to change that.
Start with the Taste Quiz. Tell us about the styles, brands, colors, and ideas you're drawn to. Then use Dispatch normally.
Save what you love. Favorite things. Build Lists. Browse. Click. Change your mind.
Those little signals start shaping your own version of Dispatch.
Your For You page ranks pieces from the catalog around your taste rather than simply showing you what's popular with everyone else.
And because taste isn't static, neither is the edit.
The more Dispatch understands what you like, the less you should have to sort through.
OR JUST TELL US WHAT YOU NEED.
Sometimes you don't want to browse at all.
You have a wedding in Florida.
It's black tie. It's outside. It's going to be hot. There's a white party the night before and a pool day the next afternoon. You need dresses, shoes, jewelry, a clutch, swim, cover-ups — and there are certain things you absolutely will not wear.
You shouldn't have to turn that into fifteen different searches.
So we built Build an Edit.
Tell Dispatch what you're shopping for the way you'd tell a person.
We'll turn the brief into a personal shop built around the occasion, what you need, what you like, and what you don't.
Pin the pieces you love. Remove the ones you don't. Refine the brief in the chat. Add another event. Come back later as new pieces arrive.
It should feel less like running ten searches and more like telling someone, this is what I'm trying to figure out.
Shopping should be able to start with a sentence, not a filter menu.
THIS IS V1.
Dispatch is still early.
Some of what we want it to become is already here. Some of it we're still figuring out. And there is a lot more we want to build.
We're taking it piece by piece.
The goal isn't to build the biggest fashion catalog on the internet. There are already plenty of those.
We want to build the place you open when you're looking for something specific, when you have absolutely no idea what you're looking for, or when you just want to see what's new.
A place to discover things. Save things. Make Lists. Build your taste. Ask for help. Change your mind.
Mostly, a place to play around with style again.
We're building the shopping site we kept wishing existed.
You're early.
